Who is Paint It Black?


The Paint It Black team consists of Project Managers, Supervisors, Qualified Painters, Apprentices, Payroll and Marketing.
Our large workforce ensures maximum flexibility, helping to accommodate various client timelines.
Our team are continually reviewed on culture, quality and overall performance ensuring accountability. We like to acknowledge the hard work of our staff which is why we provide incentives to those that best uphold our values.

Meet Our Team

Josh began Paint It Black in 2014 whilst living in Kensington. Now almost a decade in, Josh is successfully managing 25 employees across Melbourne, Geelong and Colac.
Josh works full-time overseeing each project, communicating with our clients and builders ensuring we're always delivering projects in line with our values.  

He believes that the continual investment in his team and equipment has been fundamental in maintaining Paint It Black’s level of quality and continual growth.

Our Community

Paint It Black loves to support local. We’re apart of many communities across South West Victoria including being members of the Master Painters Association in Victoria.
In October, we hosted the inaugural Paint It Black Annual Golf Day which saw over 70 participants competing for the main prize. Our event was hosted at the Queenscliff Golf Club of whom we’re a sponsor.
We got behind fellow painter Kaden Newton from Meaningful Miles. Kaden's ran the 100km Ultra Marathon in the Surf Coast Century in 2024 raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 
In November, Paint It Black donated to support Sam McGuane complete the Point to Pinnacle run up Mt. Wellington in Hobart raising money for Carrie’s Beanie’s 4 Brain Cancer.
We’re also a proud sponsor of South Colac Football & Netball Club where a number of the Paint It Black team are playing in the 2025 season.
